How Would You Answer?

1. If you were to die today, would you go to heaven?

2. If you died today and God asked you, “Why should I let you into heaven,” what would you say?

You may have thought that nobody can know for sure that they will go to heaven when they die. However, God’s Word tells us that we can know for certain before we die that heaven will be our home.

"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life."

How to Know Your Sins Are Forgiven and Heaven Is Your Home

1. Man is Sinful

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"

2. Sin has Penalty

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

3. Jesus Christ Paid Our Penalty

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

4. God’s Forgiveness Comes by Grace Through Faith

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."

5. Jesus Came to Establish a Relationship, Not a Religion

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."

Begin Your Relationship with Jesus

God’s Promise

Here is the promise of God’s Word: If you will open your heart to Jesus, He will open the door of heaven to you. If you refuse to open the door of your heart to Him, He will not open the door of heaven to you.
